''God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.'' 1 Corinthians 1:29 -30
God's plan is superb! Exciting and seriously glorious! I mean who can think it out?!
Here was his idea:
''I am the Eternal Spirit. So here is what I want to do. 'l'll make a real but physical shadow-image of myself and give him autonomy and we can rule together. However, since I am the source of all life and nothing can actually live apart from me, I'll allow him to use his will to choose me. And should he choose wrong, his will will remain intact and he can learn that I wasn't lying when I told him he could not live (life in its eternal fullness) without me.
After he realises this is true and is now willing to have a relationship in oneness with me, I will make a way for him to get back. Now we can truly co-rule in oneness because he is in full agreement. My original great plan for us will be back in motion. This is, I am in charge of Everything spiritually, but he is in charge of everything I create: our beautiful (and eternal) Father/son relationship for the good of all cosmos!''' - In a nutshell.
Now that I've got that out, let us talk about the opening scripture. In particular, this: ''...Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption''.
Though originally created perfect, Humans became imperfect because of the sinful nature they inherited from the first human's (Adam) sin. They were not wise in light of God, therefore they were not right, holy or acceptable. That is the story up until Jesus the Messiah came.
Adam gave us our nature and therefore our natural desire to sin. He got this evil nature when he willfully chose to disobey God and obey the devil. He fell foul to the spiritual principle that ''you are slaves of the one you obey'' [Romans 6:16]. In the same way, when we obey YHWH by accepting his solution and Jesus (God's way for reconciliation), we become one with Him. We now mark our origin not from the first Adam, but from Jesus - the second and last Adam. We inherit Jesus' nature of 'wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption'.
Since the reason you sinned from the time you could make a choice was that it was in your human nature, now that you have a new Jesus-nature, you have the power to deny the sinful habits formed from the previous nature. You can now choose in accordance with Jesus' nature of wisdom from God— you become right, holy and acceptable in YHWH!
As Paul said, ''For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.'' Awesome!
This is all logical. It makes sense as you follow YHWH's reasoning in the bible. That is why Jesus is the most important factor for all of mankind right now. He is the solution and he gives us confidence to stand in God's presence.
In fact, as a result of Jesus, when our former habit of sin rears its ugly head, all we need to do is remember it cannot control us because we now have a powerful new Jesus-nature. So we say out loud 'I have been bought-back (redeemed) from this sin/habit/devil. Leave me alone!
And should you fail while you are still learning to take your stand, don't despair. There is a solution for those times as well: ''If we acknowledge our sins, then, since he is trustworthy and just, he will forgive them and purify us from all wrongdoing.''1 John 1:9 CJB
So why is it a 'just' (right) thing for YHWH to forgive you when you acknowledge your sin? Because someone has paid the penalty for all of it! That is, Jesus the Messiah!
